They are also available in either polished steel or brass.
The hammers are fire-sharp, meaning each tool is made of polished steel and heat treated to give a very hard finish.
The brass version is a well balanced hammer, ideal for fine stone or wood carving. Brass produces a softer stroke, less recoil and also a smoother ring when striking the chisel.
Length of mason's hammer is approximately 200mm to 220mm long.
